Comments
Designed by the legendary Alan Pape this 17m Cutter Rigged Ketch was built by Curtis & Pape in Looe Cornwall
under Lloyds survey and was originally commissioned in 1975 as ‘Summer Wind’ and later renamed ‘Keffy’. In
2001 she underwent a 3 year £250,000 complete refit. The interior refitted from solid cherry, with fielded
panelled doors and beautiful curved fiddle rails. In 2004 ‘Keffy’ was selected to participate in the Classic Boat
Festival in Brest where she led the field. Since then she has travelled the Mediterranean, North Sea and
Atlantic wide and far and wide. Maintained to the highest standards, today she is based in at the newly
opened and exclusive Marina Di Valletta in Pieta in Malta and is regularly seen leisurely cruising the western
Mediterranean islands. With her classic lines, teak and varnish details she is a real head turner and equally at
ease blue water cruising or circumnavigating.
